Evening Light Sonoma Coast

Evening Light Sonoma Coast was a photograph I took several years ago.

I had recently purchased my first Digital SLR camera.  My new Nikon D100 was a wonderful buy.  This camera introduced me to the magical world of digital photography.

Evening Light Sonoma Coast provides a great view of the beautiful beaches of Sonoma Coast State Park.  Long sandy beaches below rugged headlands are a feature of this coastline.

The coast can often be engulfed in fog but on this particular fall day the view was spectacular.  The Evening Light Sonoma Coast photograph shows a view stretching all the way to Bodega Head in the distance.

People often hike, wade and walk these sandy beaches.  But on this particular day only footprints can be seen in the Evening Light Sonoma Coast photograph.

The ocean was a clear beautiful blue.  The evening light of the magic hour provides soothing, colorful and warm colors to Evening Light Sonoma Coast.

In June of this last year I was contacted by a representative of the Valley Yellow Pages.  He had seen my photograph online and wanted me to send a copy of Evening Light Sonoma Coast as a photograph for the cover of the Sonoma County Valley Yellow Pages 2011.  The photograph would be named Sonoma Coast State Park in the Valley Yellow Pages.

In July of this year I was notified that my photograph had been selected as the photograph that would be used on the Sonoma County Valley Yellow Pages.  The Sonoma County Valley Yellow Pages started hitting the streets in early August with my photograph plastered all over the front cover!

Although the Sonoma County Valley Yellow Pages named the photo Sonoma Coast State Park, I will always remember this photograph as Evening Light Sonoma Coast.
